The 4 C's of Diamonds:    Cut       Color      Clarity       Carat Weight

Cut:
This is the most important of the 4-c's. It reflects the shape of a diamond and how proportionately a stone is cut. The cut of the diamond gives it the brilliance, sparkle and fire. The better a stone is cut the more sparkle it has. A diamond that is high in color and clarity but has a poor cut is very inexpensive and lacks the sparkle and brilliance.
